The Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre opened in 1913 as a vaudeville house and remains a centerpiece of Salt Lake City’s arts community. The 1,800-seat, gilded-age venue hosts Ballet West, Utah Opera, touring shows, and concerts.
