Hey, I'm Mike.

What To Do In Salt Lake is a one-person operation, run by me in spare hours.

Why this exists. I started because I wanted an easy way to see what's happening around town. I'd hear about a cool event a day or two after it happened, which sucked.

How listings get added. A mix of venues I watch, organizers who reach out, and tips from people who went to something and noticed I didn't have it. Each event gets a quick check before it goes up.

The tips that help most. Under-the-radar stuff. The market at a coffee shop, the one-night show, the warehouse art opening, the comedy night that never shows up on Eventbrite. If a major calendar lists it, I've probably already got it. The ones they miss are the gold.

What to expect. I read everything. Tips usually go up the same day; for anything else I reply within a day or two. If you don't hear back, send a nudge. Inboxes happen.

The rest of the time. I'm building software for clients at Bootpack Digital. This site is the project I work on for the place I live in.
